Steves Discount Nursery and Garden Centre is proud to be your partner in all your gardening endeavours, whatever they may be. We provide what all gardeners need and want at prices that everyone can agree on. Whether you need fruit trees, potting mix or anything in between, we have the capabilities to deliver throughout New Zealand.
Servicing the community
Located in Te Aroha, the centre was first established to fulfil the gardening needs of local and surrounding peoples. Our founder Steve Thomasstockle believes that many garden centres, often operated by the larger chain stores, fail miserably in actually servicing the needs of their gardening customer base.
Our team
Headed by Steve and his business partner Vicki (admin), the team also includes:
- Maurice – a local with sound tree and epiphyte knowledge
- Annette - a gardener and experienced nursery person
- Sheila and Kate - able nursery assistants
All of us enjoy the no-pressure, friendly environment that is fostered at the centre and so do our customers.
Extensive knowledge
The members of our team possess an extensive knowledge of plants, which has been built up over many, many years. This in-depth expertise is combined with a large range of products and dedicated advice to provide the best possible value to all our customers.
